On the occasion of World Ranger Day, a National gathering of employees in the nature protection system of the Republic of Croatia was held today, July 31, 2025, at the Visitor Center The Drava Story in Noskovci. On behalf of the organizers, the attendees were addressed by Tatjana Arnold Sabo, director of the Public Institution Nature of Virovitica-Podravina County, and the chief nature ranger, Vladimir Ajhler. Also speaking to those present were Stjepan Novoselec, mayor of the municipality of Čađavica, and on behalf of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition, Josip Hren, head of the Sector for Protected Areas and Eligibility Assessment, and State Secretary Željko Vuković.
After the introductory part, the chief nature ranger, Vladimir Ajhler, gave a presentation titled Approach to the Analysis of the Nature Protection Act – Supervision. This was followed by a presentation of the equipment of the Nature Rangers Service of the Public Institution Nature of Virovitica-Podravina County, a roll call of young and old rangers, the awarding of diplomas to the participants of the Camp for Young Rangers, and the closing of the camp.
