On Tuesday, 2 December 2025, as part of the implementation of the SWIM project (Sustainable Water and Integrated Management of Fish Migration and their Habitats in the Danube River Basin and NW Black Sea), under the HORIZON programme, Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters, a meeting of project partners was held at the Visitor Centre The Drava Story.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Croatian Waters, UNIZG FSB – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, the University of Zagreb, Hidroing d.o.o., the Odra Velika Gorica Angling Association, the AIH of the Faculty of Science of the University of Zagreb, and members of the project team of the Public Institution for Nature of Virovitica-Podravina County.

At the meeting, a preliminary timeline for the implementation of activities at the pilot areas RS4.1 Noskovačka Bara and RS4.2 Virovitička Jezera was defined, based on which the final sequence of activities will be determined by the end of January 2026.

After the meeting, the project partners visited the RS4.2 Virovitička Jezera pilot area.
