Yesterday, on July 15, 2025, the official opening of the Diverterra Information and Education Centre's mobile exhibition took place at the Visitor Center the Drava Story.
The event began with welcoming remarks by Tatjana Arnold Sabo, Director of the Public Institution for the Management of Protected Parts of Nature and the Ecological Network of Virovitica Podravina County. Vladimir Juhaz, Head of the Bio-Research Station, introduced the attendees to the biodiversity of the Republic of Croatia. On behalf of the Municipality of Čađavica and Mayor Stjepan Novoselac, Ivana Zubak Martinušić, Head of the Joint Administrative Department, greeted the audience. The exhibition was officially opened by Berislav Androš, Mayor of the Municipality of Sopje, representing Virovitica-Podravina County and County Prefect Igor Andrović.
After the official part of the program, attendees had the opportunity to explore the exhibition and personally experience its rich, interactive content, guided by the employees of the Public Institution.
The exhibition is organized by the Public Institution for the Management of Protected Parts of Nature and the Ecological Network of Virovitica Podravina County, in cooperation with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Green Transition and the Institute for Environmental and Nature Protection. It is open to both group and individual visitors from July 15 to July 31, 2025. The exhibition is accompanied by a workshop designed to bring the key messages and themes closer to children through a hands-on and engaging approach.
